Week 2 | Mariotti

One site that came to mind when thinking of easy-to-navigate websites is Pandora.com. Pandora is an internet radio, where you enter an artist or song you like, and it creates a playlist with songs similar to it. Pandora is easy to use because the website isn’t too cluttered and the controls are clearly marked. When you first enter the website, a box pops up asking what artists or songs you like, making it easy to get started. The website is also aesthetically pleasing, with a spectrum of blues in the background and a sleek, white accent color. Both the simplistic design and uncomplicated interface make this a wonderfully designed website.

  1. Hey Allison,

Good job on site choice. Would have liked you to go more in depth on how you use it and how the site's design makes that easy to understand and use. Discuss how the layout/prominence of elements helps you understand the navigation/use of site.
Also, you forgot to comment on how this fits into our media culture/general commentary on media culture/consumption in the age of constant technological breakthroughs.
