Week 2 NADELL
ESPN.com is probably my favorite website and one that I visit multiple times a day. In addition to it providing the best information on what's going on in sports, ESPN.com is very easy to navigate. Basically anything you need to know about sports is right there in front of you without having to scroll down or click to go to another page. The biggest thing that stands out on its home page is the large picture that is located in the middle and to the left. This picture usually indicates the biggest thing that is happening or relates to an article written by an ESPN columnists. Under this large picture, there are three other big stories that are going on in sports, which often times are embedded with a video that you can watch right there on the home page. Also what makes ESPN.com great is that at the top of the home page you can find the scores of the games that are going on that day. You can switch between sports without having to change pages and the scores even update right there without having to click your mouse. Just below the scores you can find a few navigation bars, one which provides links to the various extensions of ESPN such as "TV", "RADIO", "MAGAZINE", etc. Below this you can find the links to all the major sports and also to the right they have links to "Topics" which are the big events that are happening such as the Super Bowl, Olympics and World Cup. The ability to sign in without having to go to another screen is also really nice to have on ESPN.com. Basically ESPN.com has learned that people now a days like to get there information quickly, easily and in not a lot of reading. ESPN.com provides this and does it tremendously. ESPN.com allows you to figure out just about everything that is going on in the world of sports without having to read any articles.
