Week 11: Nicole Buckbinder

I am one of the last ones to post for week 11 and when looking through everyone’s websites I was shocked to find that no one had used “Google.com” yet. Google is one of the most commonly used websites/search engines. Whenever there is something that I need to find on the Internet, before even thinking about where it could be I immediately type it into Google. Sometimes even when I am too lazy to type the actual website I will just type a keyword into Google for it will direct me to the site automatically. Google makes it easy for its users because of its simplicity. You type in the search engine anything that you are looking for and millions of websites will come up for you. You can narrow it down to web, images, videos, maps, news, shopping, and more. If you are looking for something specific you can easily go to the advanced bar and type in specifics so that you will find exactly what you are looking for. Its very convenient that the search bar is both on the top and the bottom of the page so that you don’t have to continuously keep scrolling up or down in order to narrow your search. Everything on the navbar is on the top of the website and is clearly spread out so there is no confusion. On the right side of the website there are specific companies or websites that make it so when someone plugs in a certain search, their links will show up making it easier to get a broader idea of sites.
