Week Eleven | Nelson

Brandyourself.com is a very important website that I recommend everyone use (total shout out since I just interviewed for an internship there. But still, it's legit a very good idea to set yourself up with one). Anyway, I love this site because not only is it a good way to boost your online presence and promote yourself, but it's so easy to use. As seen in the image, everything is set up in clear distinct categories for each step of the process, with links underneath telling you exactly what you're about to connect to. Everything is seen clearly, including an image of your own personal website. You never have to search for any information in building your profile. The whole site is about ease of access and help.

Since everything is all clearly organized and numbered, there's never any questioning what the link you're clicking on is leading to. I never have to spend more than a minute on the homepage, unless I'm indecisive as to what I want to work on. For even more ease of access, along the top there are other little tabs you can click on for options that aren't directly related to the promotion of yourself. Along the bottom are other such links that bring you to other tips and tricks of the trade about the site itself and that will guide you in promoting yourself. The fonts are all large and quick to read for the section headers, also laid out in columns. Though the blue links underneath each section are smaller and longer, since it's all right there on the one page in front of you, it in no way detracts from ease of use. Since the site is "self based", it's all extremely user friendly and meant for fast transactions.
Personally, I use the Google Results and Job Results link most, as well as looking at the blog to see what other new information the team has about increasing the likelihood of development for future careers, etc.
