Week Eleven | Loguidice

For this week's post, I'm doing a personal favorite. Youtube and become a video-sharing giant, and I'm not sure I've met someone yet who hasn't been on there once or twice.

For me, this site is build for the user. The feature I use most is conviently placed at the very top of the screen: the search bar. You can search for the most obscure thing you can think of, and most likely, good ol' youtube will return search results. Adding to this, Youtube also gives you a nifty "Videos Recommended for You" box filled with vids that relate some way to one you've watched recently (usually, anyway). Also, if you use the search bar you have the option of narrowing your search by video, channel, playlist, upload dates and much more.

Additionally, if you have no idea what to search for, Youtube provides you with a "Most Popular" video category right on the home page too. You can skim through several choices of the most recent/most popular viral videos out there from a variety of categories like sports, entertainment, music, news/politics etc...

Youtube allows viewers to create their own "channel" and favorite videos for quick reference later on. Youtube is a site built for users.
